Cappa Café is located on the banks of the River Adige near Ponte Pietra, and since it opened in 1966 it has kept its distinctive warm and informal atmosphere intact, as well as its reputation as a good place for a drink. Its terrace overlooks Ponte Pietra, the Roman Theatre and Castel San Pietro and is famous among locals and tourists as a place where evenings can be enjoyed with the sound of the river in the background.
The interior of Cappa Café is decorated in Provençal style with tables, sofas and hangings. It is split into several rooms. It’s possible to reserve a table, hire a room for private parties or sit at the tables in Piazzetta Brà Molinari. What distinguishes Cappa Café is its atmosphere: more intimate during the week, relaxed but more sparkling at the weekend, when drinks are served all evening and the kitchen is open until half past one, allowing customers to have a pizza or other hot local dishes even late at night.
Drinks are prepared by Vanessa and Michael (both AIBES certified) who have owned Cappa Café for the last 15 years. Customers really have to try their frozen cocktails, smoothies, daiquiris and seven types of Spritzers.
